As most of you know, Paul had the wonderful opportunity to work for the Texas Homeschool Coalition in Abilene – we’re excited for you Paul! – so he called us to see if we, the Thorn Crown Project, would be willing to take on Filmmakers Academy. The vision for Filmmakers Academy is very close to the mission of the Thorn Crown Project so we gladly agreed to lead FA in the future.
Joseph Graber, writer and producer for the soon to be released film, Indescribable. During the film, Joseph headed up a team of over 30 young people as they tackled the enormous feat of creating a feature film. Joseph gained his experience in creative storytelling by writing and performing countless Chalk Art Presentations. He has also organized numerous camps and classes for young people and headed up the judges for the Filmmakers Academy‘s Film Festival in 2011.
Stacie Graber inspired Paul and Alex to begin Filmmakers Academy back in 2009 when they attended her Young Christian Filmmaker’s Festival and heard about her film workshop. Stacie loves teaching and has taught drama camps, film workshops, movie nights, headed up film projects for young people and most recently, she was the director for Indescribable. Stacie enjoys the entire filmmaking process, however, she has specialized as Director, Actor and Production Designer.
