Joseph Graber, writer and producer for the soon to be released film, Indescribable. During the film, Joseph headed up a team of over 30 young people as they tackled the enormous feat of creating a feature film. Joseph gained his experience in creative storytelling by writing and performing countless Chalk Art Presentations. He has also organized numerous camps and classes for young people and headed up the judges for the Filmmakers Academy‘s Film Festival in 2011.

Stacie Graber inspired Paul and Alex to begin Filmmakers Academy back in 2009 when they attended her Young Christian Filmmaker’s Festival and heard about her film workshop. Stacie loves teaching and has taught drama camps, film workshops, movie nights, headed up film projects for young people and most recently, she was the director for Indescribable. Stacie enjoys the entire filmmaking process, however, she has specialized as Director, Actor and Production Designer.

Have we got some news for you!

If you were at the Filmmakers Academy Film Festival last summer then you got to watch the trailer for the alumni project, later titled “Face Up”. At that time the alumni project was still underway, but we told everyone that once it was finished we’d submit it to some film festivals and then release it online.

Well the wait is over and you can watch “Face Up” for free online right now!

====================

When Pete started his job as a clown, he thought it would make him happy. Now, he’s found that it just doesn’t fulfill.

Pete works with a smile all day, but behind that smile is a longing for something better–something that will really make him happy.

He knows life wasn’t meant to be lived the way he’s living it, but he doesn’t know any other way. With a frustrating job, troubles at home, and a pointless existence, Pete simply doesn’t know how life could get any worse. Until one day, it does.

====================

====================

While this film has several humorous moments, it also deals with some mature topics including parent-child relationships and violence.

Just for the record, this film was entirely written, planned, produced, directed, and filmed by the 2010 alumni students of Filmmakers Academy during the summer of 2011. The student’s ages spanned 11 – 17 years.

To say that the alumni (and their parents) did an awesome job putting this together is a massive understatement. So share the film with your friends and make sure to leave a comment letting them know what you think!
